Welcome to Market Antiques!

Just at the outskirts of downtown Landrum sits a little treasure of a store.  Many years ago the building was the town's grocery store and the street it sits on is the old Main Street.  The two neighboring buildings are part of the shop, as well as being part of Landrum's rich history. Across the street the old mill has been renovated into a business, helping to breathe new life into this almost forgotten area of town.

The owner Judy Matheis searches far and wide to provide a unique inventory.  All three of the the buildings are packed with items spanning over many years. From place settings to furniture to art, you are sure to find something to take home and enjoy for many years to come.  Several of the items have a story that goes along with them.

Long story short, if you are looking for a unique find for your home and you are anywhere near Landrum, it is worth your while to take the road less traveled to Market Antiques and spend a few hours browsing through all three buildings.  Your are sure to be delighted and amazed at not only the merchandise, but the pricing as well.

Landrum downtown

Main StreetWhile many small cities have lost their traditional downtowns as a result of commercial strip and suburban development, the City of Landrum has held on to and strengthened its traditional downtown center through careful and deliberate city planning.
